So you want to go to school? Here are some universities that offer both Undergraduate and Graduate programs especially taylored to police professionals. Policing Canada does not promote one program or another but simply offers a consolidated resource of accredited institutions for you to consideration.
1. Is it accredited... will anyone else recognize the degree?
2. Is it flexible to your work schedule (ie. online or by distance education)
3. Do they award credit for your police experience and training.
4. Cost... while there are many accredited universities outside of Canada, they may cost you up to twice as much as doing a degree locally in canada due to foreign student fees.(Many services offer partial or full tuition reimbursement so check with yours)

University of Guelph Humber | Justice Studies - In Ontario the University of Guelph-Humber has received a lot of attention for it justice studies undergraduate degree.
Rotman School of Management | Police Leadership condensed MBA style program. Offered over three weeks, March 24 – April 12, 2008. Admission criteria:
-10 years of experience as a sworn police officer, with a record of high
achievement
-Demonstrated potential and ambition to move into a command position
-Sponsorship and support from his/her service
